Nicaragua Trip - Fall, 2010

  • Dates: October 19-26, 2011
  • Hosts: Joel Huyser and Nehemiah Center
  • Costs: Approximately $1200, including airfare from Chicago or Detroit, all expenses in Nicarauga and administrative costs. Costs may vary slightly depending on the number of persons on the trip.
  • This trip will be done in cooperation with Christian Reformed World Missions and ServiceLink of the Christian Reformed Church. Application will be done through ServiceLink.

The Nigaraguan Prayer Mission trip will be hosted by the Nehemiah Center. They have an excellent web site http://www.nehemiahcenter.net/English/index.asp. Their section about the Nicaraguan context, under About Us, gives an excellent prelimary background about the nation of Nicaragua. The missionaries in Nicaragua work in cooperation between Christian Reformed World Missions (CRWM), Christian Reformed World Relief Comittee (CRWRC), and other local and international Christian organizations. Our prayer mission trip will touch each of these as we are introduced to their ministry and set aside time to pray for them.

This will be an exciting time of prayer, learning from our Nicaraguan brothers and sisters about prayer in their churches and culture, and seeing the work of the kingdom in this important yet needy Central American country
