Description of Prayer Ministry Mission Trips

Prayer Ministry Mission Trips is a program of Christian Reformed World Missions (CRWM) in partnership with Prayer Missions International (PMI). These trips are not designed as traditional mission trips where participants serve in areas of construction or other development type programs, but instead team members will engage in active, powerful, on-site prayer for missionaries and their work. Prayer mission trips have as their general activity, extended times of prayer for the missionary, the church, diaconal ministries and the community as a whole.

Trips are also structured to expand your spirituality and your own personal learning. Not only will you learn about all the exciting work that the Christian Reformed Church is involved in, but you will also have an opportunity to learn from your brothers and sisters of another culture, their practice of prayer as well as  hear their stories of transformation. You will return home with a passion to share your experiences of how God is working in the country you’ll be visiting and with a desire for continued prayer for its people and our missionaries.

Application process

Applications are taken on a first-come first-serve basis until teams are full. The size of a team is determined by the missionary host and their availability of transportation, in-country security and logistics.

Each applicant will be interviewed and a pastoral reference will be contacted. You will be notified by email or phone once you have been accepted on a team.
